S.K.A.T.E. is an academic achievement program that provides incentives to student athletes who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, or equivalent, during the closest academic period which coincides with the youth hockey season. It stands for Skaters Keep Achieving Through Education. Mites through Jr Gold are eligible to participate!

A year end 'S.K.A.T.E.' celebration to recognize the skaters' scholastic achievements will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Delano Rink. We'll have a time of fun, recognition, prizes and pizza! 

 Please send qualifying skaters grades to Vicki Noetzelman at vnoetzelman@charter.net. Please include the skater's name, team level, most recent report card grades and average GPA. Deadline to submit report cards is Saturday, April 9th. If email is not an option, please fax to Vicki at 952-548-5060 or mail to Vicki Noetzelman, 798 Country Lane, Delano, MN 55328.

S.K.A.T.E. qualifiers will receive some great prizes. Please note that this program is not mandatory. Participation is up to the family of each individual skater. All information will be kept confidential.
